I am delighted to announce that Christopher Critchlow has been shortlisted by his peers for 'Life and Health Actuary of the Year' at the Actuarial Post Awards. I know I speak for everyone at OAC when I say how extremely proud we are of him for further recognition of his professionalism and dedication, and, as always, privileged to have him as a member of our team.

"Christopher is delighted to be recognised by peers through his nomination in this category.  As director and head of professional services at OAC, his dedication to the actuarial profession and approachable manner has been instrumental in developing the firm’s approach to building lasting relationships with clients and delivering clear and credible advice to numerous Boards.  His ability to listen to clients’ needs, deliver high quality services and report on technical matters in a clear and concise manner has led him to be recognised throughout the industry as a source of authority and expertise.  He leads a team of actuaries and consultants, instilling the best qualities of the profession, whilst supporting a wide range of insurance companies with implementing best practice actuarial standards.

When Christopher is not working, he enjoys precious time with his family and getting out on his road bike.  Christopher recently took part in a cycle ride from Exeter to Nice via the Alps to raise money for charity."
